Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru and a mixed martial arts artist who is a part of in the UFC in the Flyweight Division is currently in Kyrgyzstani. She is also the older sister of the former UFC Flyweight champ and fellow UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sporting career by becoming an Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko took the title and defeated Suzane Miller in the finals via unanimity. Antonina was awarded the Silver Medal in 2007, a Bronze Medal in 2008, and a gold medal in the year 2011, and the IFMA 2016 Amateure Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia was first introduced to the professional world in at the age of 2003. She took home the World K-1 Championships of WKC Light Welterweight in 2012 as well as The Lion Fight Lightweight Championships 2016, and the WMC World Championships and the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas last time at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by unanimous decision. Antonina Schevchenko broke her professional MMA records in 2002, when she fought Anara Bazanova at KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She took the win via second-round TKO and also won her subsequent two fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003. She compiled a record of 3-0. Shevchenko went on a hiatus from MMA to focus on her kickboxing and made her comeback with Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko won Anissa Haddaoui in a unanimous decision. She then beat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, by a unanimous decision. Following the league's dissolution in 2018, Shevchenko joined Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's striking skills were superior and enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended in the wake of this win. Antonina received the UFC contract following her win. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight, after prevailing in the initial fight via an unanimous decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler by a rear-naked choke submission. This earned her the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko won her first three bouts, but lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
